Trident closing in on ending Giggs’ career…

Young man grows up in the struggle. Drops out of school early.  Serves time for gang related crimes.  Finds a creative outlet in music.  On the brink of signing a record deal that would ensure he never has to do crime again.  Police deliberately sabotage his career so that it’s almost impossible to make money legally.  Would that be a fair summary?  Am I being to hard/easy on Giggs or Trident?  I don’t know, but what I do know is that this UK rap pioneer has had a torrid time establishing any kind of consistent income from music because Trident were dead set that he wouldn’t tour, perform or even sign record contracts, yet 50 Cents and Jay Z’s dont have a problem obtaining performance permits…. It’s about time someone speaks up on this.  I’m not a huge fan of UK ‘gangster’ rap, but I do think someone should be given the opportunity to pursue a career, especially a legal one, without police harassment or involvement.  Any thoughts?
