Plan B – Deepest Shame

Plan B has been very busy lately, he recently directed the film ‘Ill Manors’; notably ‘Deepest Shame’ is the third release from the films soundtrack. The song was initially used in 2008 for Plan B’s short film ‘Michelle’ and was a more hip-hop sounding track, the current version has been since been changed and altered in areas making the song have more of a more soul.  Reminding us of Emile Sande’s awesome ‘Heaven’ , the changes are an obvious improvement, and the song writing really is quite brilliant.

A really big track and video; Plan B showcases both his vocal ability and gives us a reminder that he can still rap (even though he unfortunately has reserved this to more of a cameo in his latest releases).  He fuses the two worlds of hip hop and neo-soul music seemlessly. The video kept us interested throughout, matching the moody feel that the track offers.

Plan B is definitely the way!
